God has a purpose why He made
humans man and woman only. If we will just try to learn God's plan, we will
learn to love His purpose. It's not because God doesn't care about our
happiness, in fact, what we miss is that if we do not follow God, we will never
find true happiness. Let us not disrespect God. Let us trust His reasons for
every command.
Actually, God has designed so much
blessings for men, just as for Adam. But now, many men failed to receive those
good things as they don't want to remain in their design and chose to change
their gender. Women has a unique design too, but some of them changed this also
to become "men". We want God to understand us when we ourselves never
tried to understand God, and yet we expect Him to help us, protect us, give us
food and everything. Who is unfair then? It is humans who are being unfair and
abusive of God's love.
The union of a man and his wife speaks of Christ's relationship to the church- Christ is the groom and the church is the bride. It couldn't be groom to groom because Christ, the groom, did not come on earth for Himself but to save humanity from sin. It couldn't be bride to bride as well, because the church can't save herself alone, people need Christ in their lives. Marriage then, between a man and a woman, has a deep meaning for God, it is the greatest picture of His love for mankind. Let us not hurt God's heart.
Ephesians 5: 31-32
31 As the scripture says, “For this
reason a man will leave his father and mother and unite with his wife, and the
two will become one.” 32 There is a deep secret truth revealed in this
scripture, which I understand as applying to Christ and the church. 33 But it
also applies to you: every husband must love his wife as himself, and every
wife must respect her husband.
Malachi 2: 15-16
15 Didn't God make you one body and
spirit with her?[b] What was his purpose in this? It was that you should have
children who are truly God's people. So make sure that none of you breaks his
promise to his wife. 16 “I hate divorce,” says the Lord God of Israel. “I hate
it when one of you does such a cruel thing to his wife. Make sure that you do
not break your promise to be faithful to your wife.”
Genesis 2: 18-25
18 Then the Lord God said, “It is
not good for the man to live alone. I will make a suitable companion to help
him.” 19 So he took some soil from the ground and formed all the animals and
all the birds. Then he brought them to the man to see what he would name them;
and that is how they all got their names. 20 So the man named all the birds and
all the animals; but not one of them was a suitable companion to help him.
21 Then the Lord God made the man
fall into a deep sleep, and while he was sleeping, he took out one of the man's
ribs and closed up the flesh. 22 He formed a woman out of the rib and brought
her to him. 23 Then the man said,
“At
last, here is one of my own kind—
Bone
taken from my bone, and flesh from my flesh.
‘Woman’
is her name because she was taken out of man.”
24 That is why a man leaves his
father and mother and is united with his wife, and they become one.
25 The man and the woman were both naked, but they were not embarrassed.
